Medicare A & B Basic Costs
Medicare is comprised of many programs: Part A, B, C, D, Advantage and Supplement plans to help subsidize the cost of healthcare.
Original Medicare exists in two types of coverages, known as Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B, which cover different services, discussed in more detail below. Given that these two programs are part of Original Medicare, they are administered by the federal government. As Part A and B differ in coverage and services, they incur different costs as well.
